I was thinking about what I needed to learn from Jesus, and the idea of patience came to me, so I started writing and the idea of Moses being exiled from Egypt, and then having to wait 40 years before God called him again, came to mind. His story is definitely a good example of patience.
I wrote the initial lyrics in an hour, but then for the next six days I spent hours refining them and almost 200 Suno AI renderings later came up with this song.
I really love the piano piece at the start, and middle of the song. It makes it very enjoyable.
I hope you like it too.

"On God I Wait" by KunzyPoet
If I were Moses, I would say to the Lord
I’ve been chased out of Egypt, though I was called
By you to free the slaves
But now I'm here and who will save
Your people, why do you wait?
Send me back to Egypt and give me power
I want to prove I can free them but how
I hate it I'm still here
I'm waiting for it seems like years
I'm ready now, send me
On God I will wait
He won't be late
Though it's testing all my faith
I will still pray
He'll move today
And no matter how long it takes
On God I wait
I have family in captivity
I want to save them Lord let me set them free
I didn't do it right
As I failed you that first time
Another chance, let me try
On God I will wait
He won't be late
Though it's testing all my faith
I will still pray
He'll move today
And no matter how long it takes
On God I wait
On God I wait
Forty years later
When God called
Moses didn't want to go back after all
Though once a prince
With worldly wisdom
He knew he'd be useless doing God's mission
All his pride had disappeared
And because of God's design
Moses had changed by the time
God was ready to set His people free
On God I will wait
He won't be late
Though it's testing all my faith
I will still pray
He'll move today
And no matter how long it takes
On God I wait
He won't be late
He won't be late
Though it's testing all my faith
I will still pray
He'll move today
And no matter how long it takes
On God I wait
