The night is dark I hear wolves howl

I'm frightened and crying

Trembling at the fearful sound

Behind a cloud hides the moon

I am scared I don't know how I will escape 

I am afraid

I don't know what to do

But then I hear a caring voice

My shepherd is prepared

He looks towards the howling noise

He grabs his staff and stands his ground

I know he's made the choice, he'd sacrifice 

To save my life

I'll now sleep safe and sound

On my life's road
