I just fell down

I'm on the ground

Should I get up, or will I stay

It's only me that is to blame

For everyday

It seems the same

My selfishness trips me up

And I fall down in the mud

I'm really stuck, I've had enough

But I won't stay

I have to change

I fight myself all the time

I take some steps, then I find

That though I try

I start to slide

Back in the mud, in despair

And so to God I say a prayer

And He pulls me to my feet again

Don't give up

On this path of life

I know that you'll get through this 

If you walk with God at your side

And all messed up

I keep believing 

Jesus is leading me

As I walk this path with Him

Why does God still love me so

I'm so glad he doesn't leave me on my own 

It's good to know

And cleanse me from within

So I can get up again
