Forbidden Fruit

I set out on writing a song that emphasises that Jesus is my joy and strength, because when I have the joy of Jesus in my heart, temptation is greatly reduced. From this I put my experience in this song.

I must admit, I wrote this song for me, but hope others may also enjoy it.

He tries to sell his forbidden fruit

that is rotten to the core

takes all your strength

It turns a man into a selfish boy

the excitement you think you'll gain

Is short lived, then you're back

To life with its pain
