I Don't Belong To You

I wanted to write a song on forgiveness, but not a simplistic one, and then ended up with this song. I wrote it in one afternoon, needed hardly any editing, and I got the tune from SUNO almost immediately. It's as if God has his hand over this song. Finding the image for the song cover was the most difficult part.

I didn't have anyone in mind while writing this song, but I did check with my Christian female friends to see if the lyrics touched their hearts.

May God bless those who need this song, to give them courage to break away from violence they should not have to put up with.
